Content description

In voice and movement, but especially in print we live in a birds eyed mandala pattern of ghosts. Take me to the pleinair painting studio and ask me “will this picture ever be free form” ! Through the discussion of a short series of texts concentrated around the development of positioning oneself in society through movement and access to printed matter we move to a poetry reading and dance on film combined with and a day of beginners printmaking techniques. We will weave through a trajectory of choréologie and printed money towards the filtered relationships of value and social empowerment through poetry, dance and painting.

First day reading discussion from Choreographing Empathy Kinesthesia In Performance by Dr. Susan Leigh Foster and Exhausting Dance: Performance and the Politics of Movement by Andre Lepecki. Discussion on contemporary choreology, viewing of Dance films and a presentation of my work and a small preparation for the following days monotype. Second day working in the printmaking workshop on monotypes.
